Lost Marbles

The game:

Lost Marbles is 3D Puzzle/Platformer video game inspired by Marble Blast Ultra. You play as a brave little marble in an abstract world in which you must use powerups and keep a steady hand to collect the other marbles that were lost. This game was developed as part of the CSE 786 - Video Game Design and Development Project course at The Ohio State University.

Use your wits, strategy, and deft keyboard/mouse skills to navigate these puzzles, platforms and precipices – collecting all the ‘Lost Marbles’ as you go! Let loose in a world where physics is law – until you hit a power-up.  These gently glowing beauties will grant you the ability to leap large blocks in a single bounce, treat any wall as a floor, or reach super-marble speeds. Levels unlock as marbles are collected, and the keyboard precision needed to succeed increases with each passing advancement.

Check out the following onCampus article about this course which features a screenshot of the game as well as quotes from a few of the team members: Ninjas, marbles and toast
